So..my first day of blogging and not sure what to write. I will begin with what REALLY enticed me to start this...my square foot garden...sewing...infertility...jobs. All of my favorite things to search for on the Internet mixed with hobbies.
Square Foot Gardening is a whole new way to garden (maybe not that new..its been around since the 70's). Row gardening on my postage stamp is not happening; so I squatted on the community easement. Definition of Square Foot Gardening--4X4 raised garden, efficiently planned out by a grid, with amended soil of compost, vermiculite, and peat moss. The point....less room, less water, less work. We will see. I have spent about $100.00 on the garden (3 boxes) so far between seeds, supplies, and soil. I hope the plants grow! Sugar Snaps are about 6 inches high, onions are growing. Tonight-the tomatoes go in the ground. We will see!
To family and friends--I am excited to share my thoughts and projects. I hope that you will enjoy just as much as I do. Look for the latest craft or project I am working on and Ty's 1st summer in Woodstock. Until then.....
